The NAGC Network Awards Program is a robust program that desires to celebrate the accomplishments of those working within the field of gifted education. This program has a history of honoring the best in the field. Our Network leaders along with the support of the NAGC Awards Committee oversees the process for their specific network award and ensures that each network awards nomination is reviewed and provided an equal and fair chance at receiving the award. With prestige comes the overflowing of award nominations that come in each year.

To support our Network leaders and the Awards Committee, we are recruiting individuals that would be interested in learning about the awards process and be an integral part of awarding our nominees with each specific award.

Expected requirements from member:

  1. Complete the Network Awards Program orientation prior to reviewing nominations

  1. Meet virtually at least once in the month of June (depending on the network)

  1. Review network award nominations based on the criteria for each award that is set by each Network and the Awards Committee

  1. Score each award nomination and present the findings to the Networks Award Committee for review and final approval of award recipients.

**If you or someone you know is nominated for an award, you will be unable to review for that award**
