LEAP is a professional learning framework rooted in NAGC’s belief that educators intentionally choose and lead their own learning and that of their students by using effective and actionable strategies that are applied through a cycle of reflective practice and improvement. LEAP stands for: Lead (with) Effective and Actionable Practice and represents the core tenets of the LEAP framework. Each LEAP Guidebook and set of modules undergo peer review to ensure the content and user interface meet the needs of gifted education practitioners.

Expectations

  1. Review both a LEAP Guidebook and corresponding modules before their release to the public.

  1. After reading/reviewing draft forms of the products, answer specific questions to help the LEAP authors improve upon their content.

  1. Guidebook reviews typically require about 1 hour of work. Module reviews typically require about 2-3 hours of work.
